10:48 pm - I just re-read chapter 7

Hey, this isn't so bad...
I like freaked out and overtired Harry. His little brain is running in circles chasing it's tail.

Chapter 8 needs one bit of conversation between Richard and Anita and then... off to beta it goes!

Finally with out further ado the beta’d version of *drum roll* LdBriah is the best beta every, her suggestions make the story better! (my beta can beat up your beta!)

Harry stood there for a while, trying to get some kind of handle on what exactly he was doing. It all seemed so bizarre, and in a way unreal. He pushed his glasses up on his face and scrubbed a hand across his tired eyes.

Hey, school is back and I am tuckered out!
I think my super-beta is also snowed under so that is why Chap 7 isn't up..
or is that chapter 8? god I am tired
I may post the next chapter pre-Beta...

Well here it is.. I have been in a bit of a daze over this chapter.. it is the first thing I have written that has really moved me. Be warned however that there is descriptions of graphic violence.
You can wait for chapter 7 and catch up if you are squidgy about it at all...

10:20 am - Chapter 5

Well here it is, about a month late.. chapter 5. I must have written this thing at least 4 times before I got one I liked.
I almost forgot to mentions my "Super Beta" Watersprite (uhh I fogot your other tag.. what do you want to be called here anyway?)

"Inescapable" Chapter 5
HP and AB are the property of JKR and LKH, I am just borrowing them.
"Inescapable" is a what if story inspired by "Inevitable" by the amazing Mhalachia.

Harry stood outside the Dursley’s hotel room while Anita pounded on the door. He was absently mindedly playing with the open cuff of the shirt Anita had loaned him, while silently wondered why she had a men’s shirt in the back of her car.

11:50 pm - The muse is back!

Hi all..
My muse must have decided to stay in Utah for an extra week. I tried and I tried to get through chapter 5, then yesterday.. wham! it hit me.
I sent a version of chapter 5 off and I hope my super beta is still on the case.. if she is on vacation, expect to see a buggie version of the chapter in a few day.. Chapter 6 is about 75% so if all goes will I will have it up soon too!

AARRGG I hate school!
Well anyway chapter 5 is almost almost done, I am having a hard time with one part and I am so whipped from work that I can't get through it. chapter 6, the problem one, is at my super-fantastic beta reader so with all hope it will follow closely

but
Once school is out I will be devoting at least one day a week to writing, which COULD mean a chapter or more a week... really honest..

Chapter 4: Be careful what you wish for.

The ride home had been in relative silence, the reality of the situation was starting to sink in. It looked like the kid was thinking about what had happened to him tonight and I was guessing by the look on his face it wasn’t pleasant. As I opened the front door I decided that the best thing would be to keep my mouth shut and let the kid work things out for himself.

"Here it is," I said as I turned on the hallway lights. Harry blinked at the sudden brightness.

"This is a nice place, Ms. Blake," he said as he stepped inside.

"Thanks, but I can't take any of the credit." I closed and dead-bolted the door behind me. "The guys decorated. And clean. I just pay the bills."

Harry didn’t say anything and when I looked back at him he was staring into the darkened living room, at what I couldn’t tell. For just a moment I panicked wondering if someone had left something inappropriate on the coffee table. I breathed a sigh of relief when I realized that Harry had just zoned out-- the kid was asleep on his feet.

08:31 pm - and the good news is...

Chapter 4 is done, YEAH,
the bad news is, the e-mail server is down at work, where I finished the chapter
So I will get it to my new and hopefully trusty beta readers tomorrow...
Now I will start on Chapter 5

Ok.. so it was a bit longer than I thougth but chapter 4 (version 2) should be done tomorrow... really..
I am almost there..
